About Us:

Facilities & Enrollment

Life Christian School operates as a non-denominational ministry of Life Church. After 12 years, Life Church and Life Christian School continue to support Christian education, providing excellent resources at an affordable tuition. Over these 12 years, the school has grown from 50 to approximately 300 students. Through proper stewardship and creative thinking, the school has been able to maximize its campus facilities and physically grow with its student body. The administration has been diligent to provide ever-increasing quality in the school's programs to students who currently attend. At the same time, proper diligence has been applied with regards to planning for the future.

At this time, Life Christian School is prepared to grow to an enrollment of 500 students within 5 years. This aggressive growth plan would only move forward after prayerful confirmation and diligent planning. At the foundation of this plan is a 2-story library, science lab, and creative arts facility providing state of the art resources and technology. Life Christian School is excited about this potential growth, but continues to place its main daily focus on providing excellent education for those students with whom God has currently entrusted.

Teacher Endowment Fund

Teacher compensation packages comprise the majority of the Life Christian School's operating budget. While Life Christian School tries to be very competitive in its salary structures, teacher compensation can lag behind comparable positions in the public sector. Out of this reality was born a vision to continually increase the compensation the teachers of Life Christian School receive.

The Endowment fund was started in the spring of 2008. The first deposit was made to the fund in the amount of $62,000. These monies were provided from the LCS Annual Auction and other donations specifically earmarked for this fund. All future proceeds from the LCS annual auction will continue to be applied to this fund. Once the principal of the fund reaches $350,000, payouts will be provided to teachers annually based upon the interest collected. All principal deposits will remain in the fund. The ultimate vision of this fund is not only to more fairly compensate LCS teachers, but to eventually completely replace teacher compensation from the LCS operating budget. This will allow LCS to focus its financial efforts on its programs and resources, while at the same time continue to provide Christian education at a very affordable tuition.
