Middle School & High School
“We will not hide these truths from our children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We will tell of his power and the mighty miracles he did. So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.” Psalm 78:4,7
Philosophy and Commitment
At Life Christian School, we believe that we have a responsibility to God and our families to provide a safe environment for your child where they will be nurtured, encouraged, and loved. We also believe that every child is a gift from God, and that He has ordained their life. The Lord has equipped each student with special talents, gifts, and strengths, and our teachers will partner with you in discovering and encouraging these qualities in your child.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
A Time of Transition and Spiritual Growth
The middle school journey is a foundational transition designed to foster student independence and prepare them for high school responsibilities. Beginning in the 6th grade, students spread their wings by moving between classes, managing passing periods, and utilizing a personal locker as a central hub. Spiritual growth is central to these years, with all middle schoolers attending secondary Chapel; 7th and 8th graders are further encouraged to serve in the high school worship team, participate in mission programs, and undertake various leadership roles.
The middle school experience is enriched with unique opportunities, such as a multi-day outdoor school trip for 6th graders, formals, movie nights, field trips. The 8th grade promotion ceremony individually celebrates and formally recognizes our middle school students accomplishments and academic preparedness as we send them off into their high school career.
HIGH SCHOOL
Centered on God, Focused on Academic Achievement
At Life Christian School, we are serious about providing the highest level of academics in a Christ-centered environment. The SAT scores at the school are indicative of rigorous academic study. High school students begin school at 8:15 AM and end the school day at 3:00 PM. The following requirements provide a course model for planning as students prepare for college. Some particular areas such as math, foreign language, fine arts, and P.E. may be adjusted due to student ability, staffing constraints, scheduling, etc. We also have AP classes in various subjects depending on student progression and desire.
Each year students will participate in the Missions Week. This is a vital part of our school’s mission and purpose to prepare dedicated young Christians.
